How I can help

I'm a personal business assistant, daily money manager, and administrative organizer all rolled into one. But whatever role I take on when we work together, I’ll make managing the business of your life a breeze.

  • Daily Money Manager

    Most everyone can use help managing the business of life and much of that has to do with money. It doesn’t matter if it’s a little or a lot. What comes in, what goes out, how to keep track of it, what’s the bottom line? I might partner with your financial planner, wealth advisor, CPA, or tax preparer, but those aren’t my roles. We do all the detail work in advance so those experts can do theirs.

    I work with clients to set up and maintain:

    •Secure online banking

    •Automatic bill pay and going paperless (when appropriate)

    •Reviewing medical insurance papers and verifying the claims process

    •What else is in on your to-do list?

  • Financial Organizing

    Let’s make getting prepared for tax time easier than ever. No more scary boxes and bags of receipts weighing you down. I’ll not only get all of your tax-related ducks [correct spelling] in a row, I’ll create reports for your accountant. You’ll appreciate paying my fee for this, not theirs! And they’ll appreciate that you give them just what they need to get your return filed on time.

    I’m not a trained bookkeeper, but bookkeeping is part of this. You probably don’t need a formal balance sheet, but a basic income & expense report gives you a realistic picture of your hard-earned money.

    I encourage my clients to use an accounting software application, whether on Mac or PC (and I’ll tell you why I prefer Mac). My specialty is Quicken (or it’s newer online cousin, Simplifi).


  • Office Organizing

    Getting organized is all about making decisions. Do I love it? Need it? Want it? Where does it live? How will I find it? Could I obtain another? Can I donate it? Recycle it? Do I have to do it, or can I delegate it? Our work together will empower you to make these little decisions, so your big life can flow more easily.

    I’ll help you take care of the never ending tide of mail, paperwork, financial records, tax documents, health insurance claims, and on and on. I help you figure out what’s essential and how to act on it. I guide you on what to keep, where to keep it, and for how long. Managing the process of paperwork (and helping you eliminate lots of it) frees you to conduct your life from a place of confidence and control.




  • Small Business Admin

    I work alongside founders, entrepreneurs, consultants, and professional services folks to take on the tedious tasks of running a business so they have the time do what they do best. I help businesses with:

    •Reviewing and updating insurance policies and coverages

    •Corresponding with partners, customers, vendors to get things done

    •Following up on orders, returns, the overdue and outstanding you-name-it!

    •Plus the daily money matters that contribute to a healthy bottom line




Once I get you sorted out, cleared out, on track, and in line, I’ll make sure it stays that way through regular (or semi-regular) maintenance of all the many moving pieces of your life. I know you think you can do it yourself, and I believe you can! But over the 20 years I’ve been doing this work, 90% of my clients have me come in once a week, once a month, or once a quarter to keep things in ship shape.
